Entry #1. Opinions of Blogs.

Hello! Today I will be discussing Blogs. Love them or hate them blogs will always be around. Certain blogs are a bit controversial, which makes for a good read, right? My opinion on blogs is that if the blog is informative or discusses controversial subjects, I'm going to be reading. Overall, the blog has to pique my interest to be entertained and read. So for me, blogs can be a hit or miss. Let's talk about some blogs that have hit and blogs that have missed.

The first blog I would like to talk about is TMZ and their blog post "Elon Musk Slams CA Bill... Addressing Trans Family Court." The title alone is enough to hook a reader interested in controversial topics, which I believe to be a smart tactic and would have me already hooked. Although some content can be blown out of proportion, I think that's why I like their blog posts so much. You never know what to expect from them as they again deal with controversial subjects. Back to drawing people in, I think the format of the blog which involves showing evidence of their claims, pulls the reader in more causes a bigger investment, and keeps their attention which I think is very smart. Out of the recent blogs I've read, TMZ holds some favorable ones in my opinion. If interested here's the link to the blog post I referred to.

Pun intended.
Whenever there are ups, there are always downs. As for the next blog I read, it didn't appeal to me much and failed to pique my interest as much as other blogs did. The blog in question was titled "Top 20 Cat Memes Of The Week". While the overall intent and purpose may have been to generate laughter, I found some of the jokes a bit cheesy. Although certain people may find them funny and enjoy them, I did not. I'm more interested in blogs like TMZ or informative ones, and this blog didn't meet either criteria. However, I did appreciate the fact that the blog put the
text first and allowed readers to enjoy the memes as a treat afterward. Nonetheless, it's not the type of blog that I usually prefer.

Finally, I saved my favorite for last. Again I have probably stated it a lot but I do enjoy informative blogs. And the blog titled "How to find lasting motivation", is just the type of blog that will keep my attention. From listing nasty habits that keep motivation out, to explaining how to overcome and avoid said habits, this blog is by far favorable to me. I find this blog very helpful to me and the author's purpose of helping people find motivation and avoidance of bad habits and bad mindsets is very helpful as well. If you would like to read more on it here is the link to the said blog. https://www.lifehack.org/motivation-guide-how-to-get-motivated
